A²I is seeking a self-motivated Cloud Engineer who is ready to solve some of the most challenging technical problems in a fast-paced environment supporting national security.  You will apply knowledge of cloud technologies to lead the evolution of legacy on-premises infrastructure to next generation hybrid-cloud solutions.  These solutions span across Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.  You will provide expertise in one or more cloud providers to design solutions alongside other members of our infrastructure team with skills in security, networking, and hardware.  This is a great opportunity to help lead an established US Government organization’s cloud migration.

• Must have proven experience with defining and leading cloud migrations including defining migration, customer feedback, and sustainment approaches.
• Provides strategic direction, configuration, and implementation experience pertaining to the implementation of new tools, technologies, solutions, and methodologies as aligned with customer operational and security goals for cloud governance and monitoring.
• Has experience defining, assessing, and implementing security standards across a wide variety of cloud platforms.
• Experience defining, documenting, and implementing cloud governance approaches for all major cloud service providers.
• Experience defining and documenting operational procedures for team members to execute to enterprise customers. Promote rolling out services through written and presentations to diverse consumers.
• Soliciting, analyzing, and evaluating business requirements.
• Architecting solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements.

Required Skills (must be experienced in all):

• 5 years experience in AWS or Azure

Desired Skills:

• Experience with intensive data processing
• Segregating multiple data processing enclaves
• IAM, role-based security
• Designing and engineering infrastructure to be accredited under common NIST standards

 Education Requirement:  Candidate must hold a Bachelor'ss of Science (B.S.) or Bachelor's of Arts (B.A.) degree in a technical discipline (for example: engineering, mathematics, or computer science). 

Clearance Requirement:  Active TS Clearance is required.
