    Allied Associates International is looking for a Systems Engineer with a Secret clearance to support a counterterrorism program in Chantilly, VA.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of specific components of complex hardware/software systems to include requirements elicitation, analysis and functional allocation, conducting systems requirements reviews, developing concepts of operation and interface standards, developing system architectures, and performing technical/non-technical assessment and management as well as end-to-end flow analysis.
    • This position requires excellent verbal and interpersonal skills, ability to deliver clear written technical products, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of personnel (government, contractors, technical and non-technical).
    • Communicate, and contribute to hardware/software architecture efforts, engineering trade-off analysis, gap analysis and feasibility studies, proof-of-concept prototypes to evaluate and explore technical implementation.
    • Assist the Lead Systems Engineer to manage, prepare and update technical documentation (functionality and architecture of any technical product).
    • Support technical exchange meetings with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and sponsors.

    Qualifications

    Required Skills and Experience:

    ·        At least 2 years of experience managing, designing and implementing Enclave systems required.

    ·        Experience managing system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s)

    ·        Experience coordinating the resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews that    require cross-discipline coordination.

    ·        Knowledgeable in interface definition, design, and changes to the configuration between affected groups and individuals throughout the system development life cycle.

    ·        Experience developing derived requirements for Information Assurance and security services

    Highly Desired Skills and Experience

    ·       BS in Systems Engineering or engineering related fields is desired.

    Minimum Clearance Requirement:  Secret Clearance
